Another Neutral Look

  • MAC Jest on inner 1/3 of lid & inner corners
  • MAC all that glitters on outter 2/3 of lid & middle of lower lash line
  • Bobbi Brown Java on crease & outter 1/3 of lower lash line
  • MAC Rule on mid section as blending color
  • Some shimmer white shadow on brow bone
  • MAC dip down gel liner on bottom lash line & blacktrack on upper lash line

Guess what? I ordered the Panasonic eyelash curler online XD around $19 including shipping...! cant wait to use it with the Diorshow base! I think I'll get fiberwig in hk and try to use it with the curler too... because the fiber wig lengthens like crazyyy, it's just that it's so heavy/long it drags my lashes down without the help of a heated device.

Shop shop shop!

I'm really excited to go make up, shoe & clothes shopping in Taiwan and HK :D :D
I'm looking forward to buy some Canmake, Candy doll, Missha and Shu Uemura make up :) Need to stock up on Kiss Me mascaras too! Oh and I can't wait to get the Panasonic lash curler... I recently purchased the Diorshow Maximizer lash plumping serum...It's just one of those white colored base that you apply under your mascara. Normally I would not spend that much on a mascara because it has to be thrown away in 3 months, but this one is a serum and the reason I got it was because my friend said it made her lashes grow and it was the best base that she's used... BUTTTT for me it drags my lashes downnnnn~! ok not as much as fiberwig but yeah I
have to curl my lashe
s so many times in order to make my lashes stay curled upwards... Honestly it doesn't seem to my my lashes look that much thicker either. So...it better makes my lashes grow!! Oh and I think the panasonic electric curler will work a lot better than a curler when I use the Dior base. I'm also going to try the DHC lash serum when I go to HK becaus
e my other friend said it worked on her. haha~

I don't know if I ever mentioned this but I got the Dior airflash foundation (lightest shade they have) a few months ago because it looked really nice on my friend's skin and I wanted to know what she used the first time I saw her XD I apply this with my Sigma flat top brush but it doesn't quite create the same effect on my skin. I know she uses the Dior flat top powder brush($45)... I
went to Shoppers and tried it on with the Dior brush and the finish seemed more similar to what I saw on her face XD This foundation is medium coverage and it is very light weight. However, the staying power isn't that great. I still like my Lancome Teint Idole Fresh Wear more than this. I can use the Lancome Teint Idole Fresh everyday because it's so light weight and I just apply it with my MAC188 brush. A little bit of product will give me such great coverage so I absolutely love it :) Even though it claims to give a matte finish... It rather gives me a dewy finish, but I wear powder on top anyway so it's okay.
Another brush that i've been wanting is the Bobbi Brown blush brush($50). I feel like the blush brushes I have right now don't work that well for applying the right amount of product onto my cheeks... The shape and quality of this brush seems to be a lot better than what I have right now =P

I came across this lipstick at MAC one day and I thought it looked really nice :D What is it called? "So Sheer" !
Pretty self explanatory, it does go on pretty sheer but it's a really nice subtle coral color :) good for summer time! I loveeeeeee coral :D still loving my coral crepe paintpot :D

Sparitual Nail Polish

I came across this brand a beauty store and it was these two colors that caught my eyes. The orangy color is called "Face of Destiny" and the purple/blue ish color is called Chill (My favorite color). These nail polishes are really pigmented, one coat may even be good enough but I put two coats anyway. However, even though I used a base coat and a top coat, it still chips pretty easily.. That's too bad~ This was even more expensive than OPI but I really liked the colors so I got them anyway..!

Annabelle Single Eyeshadows

This is Annabell's eyeshadow quad for their single shadows, they only have this size which can fit four shadows. They fit MAC shadows too.

Two of their newest shades and also the only ones I own. I didn't buy their older ones because I had similar shades already but I really like the texture of the new ones~! The purple one is a matte purple, a lighter version of MAC cobalt. [These shadows don't have a label at the bottom that tells you the name so I don't remember what it's called] The pink shade has very subtle shimmer in it but you can barely see it. They are both very pigmented :)

Everything in my MAC palette is from MAC except for the two Annabelle ones. can you see where they are? [on the right hand corner and the pink right above it :)]

Got them on sale for 20% off at Rexall... Added up to seven something dollars after tax.. actually they are 25% off at shoppers this weekend or something I think... oh well -_-"

How to Contour the Nose

Rimmel Bronzer, Sigma Tapered Blending E40 brush, Bobbi Brown highlighter

So what I do is I use a fluffy blending brush and pick up some of the bronzing powder and first blend the color right under the beginning of the eyebrows, where it sinks in. Then I blend the color down my nose, going inwards and underneath to the tip of my nose (where the purple is in the picture).
Then for highlight, you can use a matte rice/white eyeshadow, shimmery champaign eyeshadow or a liquid highlighter (such as the bobbi brown or YSL one). I personally prefer a matte one because I get oily easily. Make sure you highlight the bridge of your nose[area in between our eyes] because thats the most important part to make your nose stand out more.

Things to watch out for:
  • blend the color really well so it doesn't look like you have two streaks going down your nose
  • make sure the color is not too dark or too orange. You can use a bronzer but make sure it's not orange based. Use a shade that is more to the brown side.
  • when you use a shimmery highlighter on your nose, don't apply it all the way down to the tip because it will make it seem like you have an oily nose, so stop 2/3 down.
Contouring your nose will make an obvious difference especially in photography. If you think your nose is too flat, fat, crooked or what not, try this out! I was never and still not fond of my own nose. My family members criticized my flat nose all the time when I was younger but it's gotten slightly better... -_-" But I'm glad there is a way to make my nose appear taller .. hahaa

Good luck :)

MAC "Dip Down" Fluidline

When I wear cat eyes with fluidline I love using the body shop slanted brush because it's so thin >=] When I want to go for a softer look, I go for the MAC "Dip down" fluidline :)
I must be honest that the mac fulidlines smudge on me, but a lot of people claim that they don't smudge... but anyway if I set it with powder then it's better I guess. Once again, my eyelids are just super oily.. haha in the first picture.. I think that line on the right side of my eye lid is from the liner... LOL when I draw my eyeliner too thick, it transfers onto my lid when I open my eyes ... thanks to my Asian eyes -.-" but on the left side of my eye I believe it's just my vein XD
